What is a switchback function?

Switchback LED bulbs provide a unique way to upgrade your vehicle’s lighting. Using a dual filament socket, switchback LED bulbs light up with white as the low-filament running light and switch to bright amber anytime you toggle that turn signal.

What are switchback marker lights?

Switchback LED bulbs are a unique way to upgrade your lighting! In a dual filament socket, they will light up with white color as the low-filament running light, and switch to bright amber any time you hit the turn signal. When you switch the turn signal off, they’ll “switch back” to white again.

How do you wire a LED Switchback?

Basic Fix:

  1. To make the switchback led bulb light up white, apply 12 volts to the + white contact.
  2. To make the switchback led bulb light up amber, apply 12 volts to the + amber contact.
  3. To make the switchback led bulb not light up, reduce voltage to less than 12 volts across the + amber and + white contacts.

Why are yellow lights better in fog?

Yellow lights are the best among fog light colors because they hit your retina in a way that enables you to focus on the road. Staring constantly at white light can frustrate the eye, and darker colors like blue and green have limited wavelength.

What is sequential switchback?

They come with a built in sequential switchback feature meaning when the turn signal is activated, the white will automatically shut off and the amber sequence will cycle.

How do you connect two LED strips to one power source?

In order to do two equal parts, you should run two strips at 30 feet each. Run the first strip straight from the power source. Run a parallel set of wires to the point where the first strip ends to feed the second strip with power.
