How do I send my transcript to Omsas?
To be official, transcripts must meet these criteria:
- be sent directly from the registrar’s office to OMSAS,
- be either: printed on the institution’s official transcript paper or be imprinted with the school’s seal and/or bear the appropriate signatures or. sent electronically, where that procedure is established.
Does OUAC automatically send transcripts?
If you have already taken courses at the university you are now applying to, you do not need to request that transcript. However, if you make a transcript request, the OUAC will process it and will not refund the fee. Request only 1 transcript to be sent to each institution you are applying to.
How do I send official transcripts to Canadian universities?
You’ll need to contact the institution and request they provide an official transcript in a sealed envelope to be sent to ontariocolleges.ca. Your transcript must be received in the sealed school envelope to be considered official.
Does McMaster accept electronic transcripts?

Transcripts sent to us from applicants or other third parties will not be accepted. Transcripts should be emailed to [email protected]. Most registrar’s offices are aware of the process for emailing transcripts to us, so check with them directly.
Can I send my transcript to WES myself?
Usually, it takes students quite some time to processing their official transcript and degree certificate and sending it for WES evaluation. Well, that process has now changed! As part of the recent updates, WES now will accept sealed envelop of documents or transcripts mailed directly by the institutions themselves.

When required, official transcripts should be mailed to: Enrolment Services, 172 St. George St., Toronto ON M5R 0A3. How do I Courier WES documents?
According to new rules, WES doesn’t accept documents sent by the student directly. Instead it is mentioned that the student’s University should mail WES directly with a sealed envelope containing all documents.
How long does Canada Post take to deliver transcripts?
Orders for paper transcripts and certificates are processed in 3 – 6 business days, then mailed using Canada Post standard letter mail service. Personal cheques must clear the bank before your order will be processed; note this can take up to 10 business days.
