The legendary Eddie Futch, trainer of six heavyweight champions, quit yesterday as trainer of heavyweight Riddick Bowe. Futch, 85, had been dismayed by the brawl following the Bowe-Andrew Golota bout at Madison Square Garden in July. But Futch said that diminished authority led to his resignation.
