Is Tikka better than Savage?
The action isn’t as smooth on the Savage over the Tikka, but honestly Savage wins for me due to twist rate. Unless you go 6.5 creedmoor with Tikka, the Tikkas are really sub-optimal. The triggers are also so-so, they’re not bad at all if you get the match spring and you can get used to a two-stage.
Is Tikka better than Sako?
I would stick with Tikka due to that fact it’s more customizable (i.e more aftermarket parts). Sky is the limit on what you want to do with those tikkas. Sako 85 gives you a better stock , better recoil lug, and no plastic magazine, but you lose the drilled and tapped receiver, which limits your scope mounting options.
Whats better Sako or Tikka?
The T3X platform operates on the same long action length, whereas Sako produces long and short action lengths. The Tikka in 308 would have a bolt stop that shortens the stroke. Tikka’s plastic stocks are high end, for a polymer/plastic, but I doubt are as stiff as a carbon stock.
