Can you Capo a dobro?

Are Shubb Capos made in the USA? Two complete lines of our capos – Deluxe and Original – are made in the USA. Our Standard, Lite, and Capo Noir are made in China and most of these are inspected and packaged in the USA.
Where do you store a Shubb capo?
Where you store your Capo could depend on frequency of use. I don’t use mine that often, so it goes where all my tuners go, in the drawer of my end table in my living room, where I play 100% of the time. Just a quick turn and a long reach, open up the drawer, and there they are (my tuners and my capo).

Is it okay to leave capo on strings?
Do not leave the capo on the instrument when not playing it. The capo, when clamped on the neck, holds the strings down on the fretboard and creates extra tension on the neck and the top of the guitar. All acoustic guitars are destined, at some point in time, to have problems due to the tension of the strings.
What happens if you leave your capo on your guitar?
Leaving capo clipped on the music stand (or anything, really) is fine. The guitar capo will not lose its grip and your music stand will not be damaged. If you have a music stand, then leaving capo on the music stand is probably the best way to store it. However, not many people have music stands!
How many types of capos are there?
There are two types of trigger capos; clip and spring. Choosing between clip or a spring design may be based on your personal preference, however, i personally found my experience with the spring design to be unfavourable.
Are cheap capos worth it?
Cheap capos lose tension and need replacing. I bought a cheap capo and replaced it within a year with a good one that cost twice as much and hasn’t needed replacing in 7 years.
