Can I go to a gun range without a license in NJ?
All you need to shoot is a valid photo ID (Driver’s License or Passport).
Do you need a FID to go to a shooting range NJ?
If you are renting a firearm in a group of two or more, a current and valid photo ID issued by the government (Driver’s License or Passport) is all that’s required to use the range.
Does RTSP do layaway?
All firearm orders, special orders and layaways must be paid in full at the time of order. Orders not picked up within 180 days will be cancelled and incur a 15% restocking fee.

RTSP’s retail stores carry an extensive selection of new, previously owned, and collectable firearms. Both our Randolph & Union locations are fully stocked with gun safes, ammunition, optics, and other accessories.

Yes. They are legal for purchase and possess in your home or on land owned by you. They are legal to possess and use at a gun range.

Are there any firearm training courses available in New Jersey?
We will be hosting a full range of courses that fulfill all requirements set forth by the New Jersey State Police and the state Attorney General. In the meantime, you may start with a Drawing From the Holster course which is a prerequisite for most advance firearm training courses.
