What is a stripboard prototyping board?
Stripboard is one of the commonly-used types of prototyping board. These boards are intended for permanently assembling one-off circuits, especially prototypes. The board is made from insulating material, usually a resin-bonded plastic or fibreglass.

What is a stripboard schedule?
A “Stripboard” is a document that contains a row (i.e. “strip”) for each scene in the schedule. These strips are listed in shooting order and day-break rows are placed in between groups of scenes to show where each day ends and the next begins. Other notes such as company moves or unit splits are often denoted as well.

To cut up stripboard, the best way is with a good Stanley-knife and a steel ruler. Place the board on a cutting mat and place the ruler where you want to cut the board. It’s best to use a row of holes as perforations rather than trying to cut between rows.

Vcad Stripboard Design Software Is Now Free! A couple of Xmas’s back my dear daughter bought me a full licence for Vcad as a present. I used it to redesign a seven segment display stripboard, and then to layout a larger board simply as a trial. The process was reasonably successful and I verified that Vcad wasn’t money wasted.
