Can I keep Concept 2 rower in garage?
Re: setting up rower in garage As long as it’s dry there should be no problems. Cold air is more dense than warm air so you may get a slight change in drag. Once you warm up (you may need to wear a sweatshirt for your warm up/cool down), then rowing in a cold outbuilding should be just fine.

The indoor rower’s nickname comes from its measurement of the power output of oarsmen/women. As such it is a class of ergometer (Greek: measuring work), and competitive rowers rarely refer to the machine as an “indoor rower,” but use the older name “erg” or “ergo” (short for ergometer).

Re: Keeping Concept rower outside Personally I wouldn’t recommend it unless you lived in a country or state with very low rainfall and very low humidity. Eventually the moisture just gets in to places it shouldn’t.

It may seem convenient to store Concept2 RowErg vertically, lined up against the wall, standing on end with the two parts attached. WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORAGE OPTION. Storing the machines vertically poses a danger of the machines falling over, which could cause injury or damage the equipment.
