Using a brush applicator apply an even thin coat of adhesive to both the back of the external tube patch and the masked repair area. Leave to dry for at least 20 minutes. Apply a second coat leaving it to dry for 2 minutes or until tacky. Apply the patch carefully to the repair area.

After the surfaces (damaged area on the boat and the underside of the patch) have thoroughly dried from the cleaning step, apply a very thin layer of Clifton Hypalon® Adhesive to both surfaces, using a stiff bristle brush (the 4-ounce can of adhesive has a brush in the lid). Clifton Hypalon® Adhesive works well as a one-part glue.
