What is it like to stay on Lankayan Island?
We spent 6 nights on Lankayan and loved every minute. We stayed in both the beach bungalows and the over-water chalets. Both were spacious and comfortable with great amenities. The air-conditioning was definitely colder in the beach rooms but we never felt hot over the water. The food was excellent with a good range of Western and Asian food.

Where to go snorkeling on Lankayan Island?
The snorkelling near the jetty to the dive shed is probably the best place to see corals around the island. Although Lankayan Island is now part of a very large marine park, the coral reefs have a long way to go to recover from dynamite fishing which was obviously once quite common.
