What is your review of “the class”?
Very much in the same vein as Anna Boden & Ryan Fleck’s HALF NELSON. Much like that masterpiece, The Class is one of the rare teacher dramas that never once conforms to tired clichés, excessive schmaltziness, or any of the Hollywoodized bullshit that many films within this subgenre fall into, instead keeping it real throughout.
