I would go The 22 I love the Peavey classic (I have a 50 head I use a lot) The 30 sounds great when cranked but the drive channel is weak compared to the 22 I always turned up my nose at Peaveys until I recorded a guy who played a Dick Dale strat through a Classic 30, and made it sound like Hendrix.

The DRRI is a one trick pony but it does the one thing really well. My Classics are vary versatile clean to overdrive. I use reverend all tone speakers with the Peavey’s. They get real close to fender clean for me.
