Randolph Lafayette Frazee, for whom the city of Frazee was named after, was born in Hamden Ohio on July 3, 1841. He was the son of Ephraim and Margaret Petty Frazee, who were also natives of Ohio. The name apparently originated at Fraisse, France. Siblings of Randolph were Eliza, 1833, Clinton-1836 and Theodore-1848.
