Can you use Efudix on your hands?

The cream can be applied with a clean finger, a gloved finger or a non-metal applicator. The cream can be applied to any area of skin (as directed by your doctor), but you should take care to avoid the eyes. Wash your hands thoroughly after each use.

Can fluorouracil cream cause swelling?

Most people using this drug get skin reactions where this drug is used. These reactions include burning, dryness, irritation, redness, pain, and swelling. Irritation may last for 2 weeks or longer after you stop using this drug. Call your doctor if you get a skin reaction that bothers you.

Where do you apply Efudex?

I have been applying Efudex from the top of my shoulders to below my nipple line and it is quite obvious where my shirt was open! I am almost 3 weeks into the recommended 4-6 weeks of treatment and hope I can make it to the 28 day mark. With my face I made it to 21 and the Doc commented on how eventually all of my skin reacted.
