How do I view previous tax returns on TaxAct?
To access and/or download prior year returns:
- Sign in to the TaxAct account used to prepare the return.
- Click the My Taxes tile.
- Click the year you wish to download to expand the menu and see your return(s).
- Choose your return (to save your return on your computer, click Download).
How do I get my tax transcripts 2013?
You can quickly request transcripts by using our automated self-help service tools. Please visit us at IRS.gov and click on “Order a Return or Account Transcript” or call 1-800-908-9946. If you need a copy of your return, use Form 4506, Request for Copy of Tax Return. There is a fee to get a copy of your return.
Can I view old tax returns online?

How do I check the version number of the TaxAct program?
After the installation is complete, you can open the TaxAct program. To confirm the version number, click Help in the top toolbar and select System Information. Security software can prevent downloads and installation, or prevent the TaxAct program from working properly after installation.
How do I install TaxAct on my computer?
If it seems nothing happened after you clicked Download, or you don’t know where your browser saved the download, you can find a list of downloads using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + J in Internet Explorer, Chrome or Firefox. This will open the downloads location and allow you to choose the TaxAct installation file.
