Does KONI have lifetime warranty?
The KONI warranty is to the original purchaser against defects in materials or workmanship for as long as you own that car (registered for street use) during the applicable warranty period of two years. The warranty does not cover damage to the parts caused by misuse, misapplication, wrong installation, etc.
What is the warranty on KONI shocks?
HEAVY DUTY TRUCK & BUS: KONI North America LLC warrants all new KONI shock absorbers to the original retail purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship, excluding mounting hardware and bushings, when used under normal operating conditions for a period of 3 years or 300,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
How long do KONI Sport shocks last?
Plus they have Koni’s limited lifetime warranty. The OE Sachs springs are supposedly only good for 40-50k miles.
Are KONI shocks gas or hydraulic?

Can you recondition shock absorbers?
Generally, you would have two options to fix the problem of worn shocks: repair the broken part(s) or do a shock absorber reconditioning. Contrary to what many people think, shock absorbers can be fixed. It is usually cheaper than having to buy new ones, especially when you have to replace four of them at a go.

Do warranties cover shocks?
While extended car warranties and vehicle service contracts (VSCs) are designed to protect your vehicle from unexpected breakdowns, many will exclude shocks and struts. Even your factory or manufacturer’s warranty’s “bumper-to-bumper” coverage won’t include these types of heavy wear and tear components.
How long do shocks last?
On average, if your car has been “babied,” you can expect your shocks/struts to last about 10 years. If you have really used your car like a workhorse, 5 years is probably all you can expect. This means that for the average driver, 7 or 8 years is the maximum life expectancy of most shocks and struts.
Will the Koni fit in a car with a lower height?
All KONIs are designed to fit standard height cars and can work with lowered cars, excluding Special Active with FSD Technology (FSD lowering detailed in the last paragraph), as long as they don’t bottom out internally and become damaged.
Why are Koni shocks rebound adjustable?
Since the shock controls the motion of the spring, increased spring rates require more rebound damping for control and that is one of the reasons why KONIs are rebound adjustable (and some are double adjustable). Using higher rate springs with OE or soft shocks will very quickly overcome and wear out the shocks.
What position should my Koni be installed in?
For most vehicles, we suggest that new KONIs be installed in the full soft position. (the standard setting right out of the box) to take advantage of the balance of ride comfort and handling designed by the KONI ride development engineers.
How does the Koni FSD work?
