Why won’t my Viper Lock lock work?
If it doesn’t (and i bet it won’t) than the issue is with the lock actuator that i most likely shared by the both the viper system and the OEM system. This may not be a fix but hopefully you can get closer to diagnosing the problem.
Does the Viper 300esp alarm system work in 2000 Rs Coupe?
2000 RS coupe…bought used, came with Viper 300ESP alarm system. Till now, everything has worked fine (5 years). For some reason the doors will not unlock now when I disarm the alarm or shut off the car, I have to use the key or the power lock button. Alarm will not Unlock the doors when it is disabled.
How do I unlock the driver side kick panel?
These should be going to a blue/green wire (lock) and a yellow/red wire (unlock) in the driver side kickpanel. Check your connections there. If you can get it to stop working then connect your DMM (digital multi-meter) negative terminal to the wires, and the positive terminal to a known 12v constant source (ie. the battery).
