Can you drive to the Mariposa Grove?

The road to the grove, beyond the welcome plaza, is closed to private vehicles when the shuttle is operating. There is limited parking in the Mariposa Grove Arrival Area for visitors who wish to enter the grove before or after the shuttle service hours. The gates to the grove closes at 7:30am.
