Is Tulane big on Greek life?

42% of Tulane Students are in a Greek Organization. Spring 2017’s Average Greek GPA was 3.419! Panhellenic raised $60,000, allowing 15 sorority women to travel to Malawi and build a school for girls in May 2017.

Are sororities big at Tulane?

Compared to other schools, Tulane’s Greek life is much more laid-back. For example, Tulane has small sorority and fraternity houses with few, if any, people living in them, parties that anyone can attend and a non-competitive nature.

In order to participate in recruitment or intake, a student must:

  1. be full-time, degree-seeking Tulane students.
  2. have earned at least 12 semester hours with a minimum 2.5 cumulative grade point average in those hours.
  3. be free of pending Student Conduct or Honor Board charges or sanctions.
