Put simply, most of the time, the difference between bundle hair and packaged hair for the beauty supply store is the quality. When buying bundles, you are generally looking for 100% virgin remy hair, great quality that lasts a long time. This is not to say that you can’t get quality hair at a hair store, you can.

How many bundles do I need for 28 inches of hair?
A 10″ bundle has a longer weft when compared to a 20″ bundle. The weight of the hair in a 10″ bundle is wide and long on a 20″ bundle. The reason you might need 5 bundles when using lengths in the 28″ – 32″ range is that the hair weight is going all the way down your back and not sewn around your head.
Can you do a full sew in with 2 bundles?
Partial sew-in styles require less hair than a full sew-in hairstyle and will take a maximum of two bundles for standard lengths and three bundles if using longer lengths over 24″.

We get this question all the time and created this guide to assist! We recommend 3 bundles for a full install if using lengths shorter than 20 inches. 4 bundles are recommended for hair measuring 22-30 inches. We recommend 5 bundles for lengths 30 inches and longer.
Is one bundle enough for sew-in?
Depending on the length, 3-4 bundles are recommended in order to pull off a straight sew-in look. If you are going for a straight sew-in frontal with a length over 22″, you will need to use a maximum of 3 bundles.
