Do WTB tubeless-ready rims need tape?
Tubeless rims are more reliable than tubeless-ready rims because they do not require any tape. Riders who swap tires on and off regularly will appreciate not having to worry about re-taping. You get a nice tight seal, and the only hole that you need to worry about is the valve hole.
Should I rotate my mountain bike tires?
Definitely dont rotate them mid-wear to equalize wear. That just ensures your front has as little traction as possible. If you run the same tires and wear the rear out, its good to rotate the old front to the rear and install a new tire up front.
Do tubeless bike tires need sealant?
Tubeless setup and maintenance is inherently more onerous than using inner tubes, tubeless tyres cost more than non-tubeless tyres, and you’ll need to keep buying sealant. Some tubeless tyres mount easily and will seat on the rim using a normal pump.
