Why is Desolace desolate?
The mountainous barriers of the Stonetalons lie to the north and Thousand Needles to the southeast, isolating Desolace from much of the rest of Kalimdor. The grasslands and mesas of Mulgore stand directly east, and the land runs rugged and open to the storm-tossed coast to the west.

Is there a horde flight path in Desolace?
Horde:From Sun Rock Retreat, go up the trail west into the Charred Vale, then south into Desolace. The Horde flight path is in Shadowprey Village in the southwestern corner of the zone, on the coast.
How do you get to Desolace from darkshore?
If you keep following the road towards the west from here you will find the Menethil Harbor – and from here on you can take two boats towards the Auberdine in Darkshore. Now you have to head south towards the Charred Vale in Stonetalon and Desolace is towards the south side.

It is built within a verdant mountain valley and is maintained by the druids of the nearby Talon Den. Stonetalon Peak has recently been destroyed by invading tendrils. How do I get from Thunder Bluff to Desolace?
For this, you need to take a flight path starting from Thunder Bluff and ending at Sun Rock Retreat. Start toward the South, and you will find Desolace. However, if you don’t have the amount, you can travel east and north. These will be the lands of Mulgore, and then you will need to travel West.
Are all Elder dragons weak to dragon?
Hunters looking for an edge against the spiny brute should equip themselves with Thunder-type weapons, which are Nergigante’s only weakness. Fire, Water, and Ice damage should all be avoided, as the dragon is resistant to all three. The elder dragon is not, however, resistant to any of the four status effects.

Desolace was actually a grassy wildland a thousand years ago, but after the Tauren unwittingly woke up Princess Theradras, believing she was their beloved Earth Mother, the earth princess consumed all greenery in Desolace to regain her strength.
