There are only two characters you can miss without being able to backtrack: Kiwi: is the first ‘missable’ character in the game. If you don’t talk to him before the princess is captured, you can never get him again. Skreech: is the second ‘missable’ character.

In Shining force III Scenario 1, first chapter, Synbios will find a blond centaur knight with magic abilities in Saraband, doing laundry, just like in the first Shining Force! Due to Domingo’s lack of promotion, when he first joins he will gain levels for a while as if promoted and ends up arguably the strongest spell caster overall. His spell Attack allows other party members to get stronger and attack harder, particularly useful in the case of Bleu or Adam.
