Does the Nevis Range have showers?
Showers. Showers are located at the Gondola base station, at the back of the building. Showers cost £1 for 3 minutes (new £1 coins are accepted). Please ask a member of staff at the ticket office if the showers are locked or if you need to exchange notes for £1 coins.

As we mentioned, we’d recommend the summer for newbie adventures on Nevis. Warmer temperatures and longer days mean a more manageable hike. If you’re experienced and looking to challenge yourself, by all means go for it in winter.
How difficult is Ben Nevis?
It is a difficult and potentially dangerous climb, and takes an average of 4 hours to climb with a further 2-3 hours to climb back down. However, as long as you are properly prepared and understand the risks involved, there is no reason why you shouldn’t be able to make the climb and have a great time doing so!

Can an unfit person climb Ben Nevis?

There are 12 lifts in total, including Scotland ‘s only mountain gondola, which transports you effortlessly in just 12-15 minutes from the car park to 650m, where you will find the Snowgoose Restaurant & Bar and the ski area itself. With an uplift capacity of 9,600 per hour you can expect minimal lift queues.
