How do you do the One city Challenge in Civ 5?

Can Venice buy city-states?

Due to the fact that the Merchant of Venice is a Great Person, it is possible, although unlikely, for it to be gifted to a player who is not currently playing as Venice, as long as they have all of the Patronage policies adopted. In this case, its ability to buy city-states remains intact.

Venice’s unique ability makes it an exceptional civilization when compared to all the others – so exceptional, in fact, that it almost deserves a dedicated strategy article on its own! Capital.) What’s more, they cannot even annex cities they conquer, only keeping them as puppets!

Why Venice is covered in water?

Venice is actually made up of 118 separate islands, which sit within the Venetian Lagoon. This extra water seeps onto the main island and causes Venice to flood.

How fast could the Venetian Arsenal build a ship?

With high walls shielding the Arsenal from public view and guards protecting its perimeter, different areas of the Arsenal each produced a particular prefabricated ship part or other maritime implement, such as munitions, rope, and rigging. These parts could then be assembled into a ship in as little as one day.

What happens if Venice loses its capital?

If Venice loses its original Capital, the Capital is moved to another puppeted city. Because Serenissima prevents city annexing, the new Capital is NOT annexed and is still a puppet. No wonders or archaeologists may be built in any city at this point, since all cities will be puppets.
