How do I get my FRS money?
To make your request online, log in to MyFRS.com. Select Investment Plan, FRS Investment Plan > Withdrawals and Rollovers > Withdraw or Roll Over Money, and then select a payment type. To make your request by phone, call 1-866-446-9377, Option 4 (TRS 711). You will need your PIN.
What is FRS account?
The FRS Investment Plan is a defined contribution plan, in which employer and employee contributions are defined by law, but your ultimate benefit depends in part on the performance of your investment funds.
When can I start collecting my FRS pension?
You will be eligible for a Pension Plan benefit (i.e. be vested) when you complete six years of service (if you were enrolled in the FRS prior to July 1, 2011) or eight years of service (if you were enrolled in the FRS on or after July 1, 2011).

Overview. You can take your LGPS pension at any time from age 55 to 75, as long as you have met the two-year vesting period. You must take your pension by age 75. If your employer agrees, you can even take your pension without leaving your job – this is called flexible retirement.
How much pension will I get from LGPS?
For membership before 1 April 2008, you receive a pension of 1/80th of your final pay plus an automatic lump sum of three times your pension. Your final pay is usually your pensionable pay in the year you leave the Scheme. Pay from one of the previous two years can be used if it is higher.
