Is EFY still a thing?

#BYU #ContinuingEducation office confirmed that the “traditional” EFY program will be replaced by the FSY conference. The EFY offices in 2020 will now oversee FSY, EFY Special Edition, and EFY Express. Wow.

The EFY Adventure for Youth experience will begin in Provo for Moab and Maple Dell.

Can non members go to Fsy LDS?

Set personal goals for your time at FSY. Encourage quorum and class members to register for FSY. Invite less-active members and nonmembers to participate in FSY. Review the packing list and come prepared with what you need.

Can you wear leggings to EFY?

Men and women should wear long pants that come to the ankle. Clothing should not be frayed, have holes, or be form-fitting (no leggings, exercise pants, sweatpants, or spandex).

EFY was created by Ronald C. Hills in 1976 when 172 youth and 15 counselors met for the first session of the summer program. Then-Commissioner of Church Education Jeffrey R. Holland, now of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, was one of the banquet speakers at the founding session.

Can BYU students have facial hair?

All university male personnel are required to adhere to the Church educational System Honor Code and the BYU Dress and Grooming Standards which state that “Men are expected to be clean-shaven; beards are not acceptable.”
