How to draw a microscope?
First of all sketch out a usual voluminous rectangle as in our example.
Now sketch out the upper part of the microscope that consists of an arm and eyepiece.
With the help of light lines sketch out three objective lenses. Make the arm a little more voluminous.
Move a little lower and sketch out the stage, knob and illuminator.
Now let’s start working with details. Draw out the eyepiece, hand and objective lenses.
Erase all unnecessary guidelines and draw out the stage, illuminator, knob and base.
Now let’s move on to the shadows. Draw them by hatching, adding them to those areas where the light does not fall.
How to determine what microscope to use?
Base – the flat structure of the microscope that serves as its foundation
Arm – connects the base of the microscope to the nosepiece and eyepiece; used to carry the microscope around
Stage – the flat platform where the slide is put in place for viewing; can be adjusted via the coarse and fine adjustment knobs
Illuminator – steady light source
