How can I get better reception with my MOHU Leaf?
If you think your reception can be improved, then try placing your Leaf in a window and re-running the channel scan. You may need more coaxial cable to connect the antenna to the TV. Any good quality coax will work, or you can buy matching coax on Mohu’s website.
How many channels do you get with MOHU Leaf?
For your zip code, I get 16 possible channels. If you put in your address, you might get more or less. Also, fiddle with pad placement to get the best reception.
Can you put MOHU leaf outside?
It boasts a 75-mile range and you can place it in an attic, atop a roof, on outdoor siding, or indoors.
Do TV antennas degrade over time?
Your antennas performance can become degraded over time if elements, or the interconnections between the elements become damaged, but total failure is not common.
What is the difference between the Mohu Leaf 30 and 50?
The Mohu Leaf 30 is rated to pick up TV signals within 30 miles. Mohu also makes the Mohu Leaf 50 (formerly known as the Mohu Leaf Ultimate) which is rated for 50 miles. The only difference is an included Mohu amplifier, but I’ll cover that a bit later in the post.

Can you tape antenna to window?
When you get your Leaf or Leaf Ultimate in the window and you are happy with the reception, make sure the WHITE side faces outside so the antenna absorbs less heat from the sun. In addition, secure all four corners of your antenna to the window so it does not curl (clear packing tape is fine).
Does the sun affect antenna reception?
The sun’s energy overpowers the signals and keeps them from reaching ground-based satellite dishes. Local Channel 13 programming to Mediacom customers won’t be affected because our signal is transmitted through fiberoptic lines, however Antenna TV may experience outages.
