Should marble cake be refrigerated?

Marble cake may be refrigerated (in an airtight container) and will keep for about 5-7 days in the fridge, but keep in mind that the refrigerator will dry out your cake, even in a container.

A marble cake (or Marmor) is a cake with a streaked or mottled appearance (like marble) achieved by very lightly blending light and dark batter.
