What does a capture Nock look like?
The capture nock. Like the moon nock, the arrow will be seated with a vane in the vertical position either pointed straight up or straight down. Also like the moon nock, most crossbows that utilize a capture nock will have the vane pointed straight down when loaded.
What nocks do Barnett Crossbows use?
Barnett manual says to use half moon nocks. This is due to the way the string sits when the crossbow is cocked. Some companies sell omi nocks. due to the height of the bow string when cocked.
Can you interchange crossbow bolt nocks?
You cannot shoot any other style of crossbow nock other than a capture nock if that is what your manufacturer specifies to use.
Will a half moon nock work in a Parker crossbow?

Black Eagle Zombie Slayer and Executioner work well in Parker Crossbows. They come as shafts or as fletched and capture knocks, press fit. So you can change to lighted knocks if you desire them. Both are excellent bolts.

No there is no difference in the two. Some call them half moon nocks and others call them moon nocks but they are they are same thing.
Do I have to use omni nocks?
Yes, you need to use the Omni nocks and the vanes need to be less than 1/2 inch. One of the benefits with the Omni nock is there is no wrong way to load it, so no matter which vane your granddaughter puts down in the barrel track, it will load correctly.
Should arrow nocks be glued in?
No glue is required with pressfit nocks. You just stick them in, and pull them out, as needed. They are completely indexable, which means you can turn them to any position to align properly with your fletchings and to achieve rest and/or cable clearance for your fletchings.

Can you use alpha nocks on any crossbow?
The Alpha-Nock can be used in any TenPoint, Wicked Ridge, or Horton Crossbow Innovations crossbow. Use of the Alpha-Nock in any of these crossbows will not void the warranty, even if your crossbow originally required the use of a flat nock or Omni-Nock.

What happened to Omni nocks?
Yes, the Omni has been discontinued for 2020. All TenPoint bows shoot the Alpha this year. The Alpha will work on any bow we have made previously. Good to know the Alpha nocks will work on the older bows.
