Micro Bonds are a hair extensions used to enhance the overall look of your hair by adding length, volume, or both. Loose strands of extension hair are attached to tiny sections of your own hair, individually, strand by strand.
Can I dye my hair with micro ring extensions?
If you’re wearing nano, bond or micro ring hair extensions, be super careful not to get dye on the keratin. When you’ve rinsed the dye out, make sure you give your bonds a couple of good shampoos. If get dye on the keratin attachments, rings can slip, bonds and nanos will shed, or even break down completely.

Can you dye your hair with micro links in?
Human hair micro link hair extensions can be dyed but most specialists advise against this. In most cases, the hair extensions have already been dyed so repeated dyeing can damage the cuticles.

Hair extensions often resist for at least three dyeing jobs and still be in great condition. However, if you keep going darker and darker from the previous colour, you will be able to dye your extensions more than three times, but make sure you wash, rinse and condition them well.

Why have my extensions gone pink?
Hair extensions are much more porous than your own natural hair, this is because the extensions aren’t attached to the scalp so they do not receive the nutrients that your natural hair usually gets which act as a protective barrier. This is why your hair extensions might turn a pinky/orangey shade very quickly.
Do nano rings ruin hair?
Nano rings are also one of the least damaging types of hair extensions. No heat or chemicals are used to either apply or remove them, so the client’s natural hair is protected. Silicone lined rings also prevent damage.
How often can you wash your hair with micro loop extensions?
Micro link hair extensions should never be washed within the first 48 hours of being fitted and ideally micro ring extensions should not be washed more than twice a week – be sure to rinse out all the shampoo and conditioner you use.
