Why Interstellar is a bad movie?

The physics in Interstellar is almost all ridiculously wrong, with only a few decent exceptions. Some examples of shittiness: There is not such thing as a “soft” or “nice” black hole and human life would never be viable on a planet right next to one.

Does the movie Interstellar make sense?

Although Interstellar received good-not-great reviews upon release, it’s since garnered more acclaim and it frequently places on lists of the best sci-fi movies ever made. Interstellar is about Earth’s last chance to find a habitable planet before a lack of resources causes the human race to go extinct.

Is Interstellar best movie ever?

Interstellar is not even the best Science Fiction movie ever made. It’s an entertaining enough watch if a little overlong but, in summary, much of it is implausible or at the very least, it stretches the truth of what is theoretically possible.

Why does Murph burn the corn?

Convinced her brother is making a terrible mistake, Murph sets fire to Tom’s corn fields, knowing that since Tom relies on his crops for survival, he’ll be forced to drive out to try to extinguish the blaze.

Why is Interstellar so emotional?

By making Earth and space opposites, we feel each more powerfully as we travel between them. Everywhere, the Nolans’ are crossing opposites and hitting us right in the “feels” because of it. The survival of the whole human race crosses with a single human relationship: Murph and Cooper.

How old is Murphy Cooper at the end?

When he returns to the Endurance he receives Murph’s message that she is now the same age as Cooper when he departed. This means he was 35 years old when he left Earth (which is a little hard to buy, but anyway).

Did Interstellar make you cry?

Interstellar “Interstellar made me cry twice, once when he got back from the planet that made decades pass in minutes for him and he watched a bunch of videos from his kids that grew into adults, and then when he was yelling at himself to not leave,” uhokbutwhy wrote.

How did Murph know it was her dad?

In the scene where Murph is an adult and is in the room trying to figure out the puzzle of what was communicating through the books, she gets the ‘aha’ moment where she realizes that it is her father somehow communicating. The ‘stay’ message is crucial to her figuring this out.

Is Interstellar depressing?

I remember leaving the theater feeling a really heavy weight of sadness. I thought the movie was excellent, but it left me feeling almost alone, and then a sense of hope mixed into the feelings of sadness. Maybe I’m just weird, but that’s how the film affected me.
