Can you save Asta in Skyrim?
On the PC version, if Asta dies during the Spriggan attack, it is not possible to resurrect her like most characters. In order to achieve that, one must first manually select her as the target by typing prid 00015CC5 in the console, before finally using the resurrect command.

Should I take the tree sap Skyrim?
If you choose the sapling option, the Gildergreen in Whiterun will show the new sapling growing inside the frame of the old tree. This is because the old tree is not removed by the game. The sap option avoids this problem and allows Gildergreen to fully bloom over time.
