What is Prelude? The Prelude FLNG facility is 488m long and 74m wide. It has been designed to remain moored in the field for at least 25 years.

The Prelude FLNG facility produces natural gas from an offshore field approximately 475km north-north east of Broome in Western Australia. Prelude is a multi-decade project and will require backfill gas to maximise its operating life, the first of which will be Crux.
