What is an RC transponder?
Every RC vehicle has an RC transponder installed, that sends out a unique signal to the detection loop in the track. RC Transponders are small and lightweight and have been used in the world of RC racing for many years.

The transponders are light, compact devices attached to each vehicle. Each transponder is assigned a unique identification number to differentiate individual vehicles. As the vehicle passes over the Loop Antenna, the Decoder reads this identification number and determines a crossing time.
Do MRT transponders work with MyLaps?
Apparently MyLaps latest firmware will disable ANY transponder not using the RC4 protocol. This means that your original 2 wire AMBrc DP transponders, MRT transponders and house transponders will no longer work.
