How can you tell if someone is online on Plenty of Fish?
If you’re interested in finding out whether a member of POF is online and you have a free account, you’ll need to look for them in the search bar and sort with the “Last Visit” option. There you’ll be able to see four possible options: Online Now.
What does the green check mark mean on POF?
If you give another member a green check mark, they will be notified. You can also check out the list of people that have liked you or with whom you’ve both liked each other by tapping “Liked You” and “It’s Mutual” on the top of this screen.
How can you tell when someone was last active on POF?
If you’re trying to find people that have been active recently, you can choose to sort the search results by the “Last Visit” parameter. This information relates to when a person last logged in to POF.

Firstly, hiding profile on POF will simply indicate that no one will be able to find you on basic or advanced search results. Your hidden profile will not appear here. However, POF members can still contact you. They can access your profile if the messages are in your inbox.

All messages are auto-deleted by our system after 30 days and there is no way to retrieve those.

If your profile shows up in the search results, this means that POF has hidden your profile. On the other hand, if the profile doesn’t pop up, it’s been removed. Another way you can check if your profile has been deleted is by going through the messages you exchanged.

Can you hide your profile from one person on POF?
Click the link. After you select the “Edit Profile” link, at the top of the page you will see a line of text that reads, “To hide your profile from others, click here.” Go ahead and click this link. This will hide your profile, and you will no longer appear in the search results of other POF users.
