Table talk is when a player conveys how their partner should play their next hand either by directly saying or by making hints as to the best card to play, in order to gain an advantage over the other team.

What is a conversation card?
Conversation cards are a playful way for children to practice sharing things about themselves and expressing their thoughts and feelings. These cards provide open-ended sentence starters that encourage conversation- supporting the child’s social and emotional development.
Are you allowed to say what you have in poker?
Any facts that are supposed to be freely available to all players are fair game to be spoken aloud. For example, a player who forgot to bring his glasses may ask whether a card on the board is the queen of hearts or diamonds. If you didn’t hear how much somebody declared his bet to be, you can ask.
Is Table Talk allowed in UNO?
There is no rule against it, so unless we get some official word, I think it’s allowed unless the group agree to disallow it. This is generally a very bad argument for any rule. No rulebook could ever disallow every possible action that you can think of.

How do you use conversation cards?
When using conversation starters for a meeting, make sure you prepare the cards ahead of time. Put one at each person’s spot at the table. Then, depending on the size of the group, either have each person read their card and go around the room answering, or break out into smaller groups to ask the questions.
What is a great conversation starter?
What’s your story? This is an interesting conversation starter because it invites someone to tell you a story about them, and you never know what exciting thing they might tell you. What personal passion project are you working on right now? This is one of my favorites.

Don’t be rude or mean. Don’t take a bad beat out on the dealer by verbally abusing them or throwing your cards at them. Don’t deface the poker table or ruin/crumple the cards. Don’t swear.

As well as making it easier for you to answer the question, a personal reply will often sound more heartfelt than other answers you might give.
