Who is Reisen Udongein Inaba?

Reisen Udongein Inaba is a moon rabbit who fled from the Moon to Earth as a refugee from the Lunar War, which is the name of a war between two worlds that started in 1969 A.D. Reisen found herself in Gensokyo where she met two more notable escapees of the war and asked for refuge with them, eventually swearing loyalty and helping them out.

Why is Reisen called Inaba?

“Inaba” (イナバ), drawn from Tewi Inaba, is a name Kaguya Houraisan uses for all the rabbits in Eientei as she has trouble distinguishing between them. In canon, Eirin Yagokoro is the only one who is allowed to call Reisen by the name “Udonge” or “Udongein”, though she also calls her “Reisen” from time to time, particularly when she is not present.

What is Seiran Reisen?

Seiran refers to the mist that falls upon mountains on clear days. Since Reisen is an odd one out—a moon rabbit blending in with the earth rabbits—this temperament may be a good fit for her. Reisen is endowed with Wood Phase, as an unbound rabbit, and Moon Essence, showing her faithful nature.

What does Imperishable Night Reisen look like?

In Imperishable Night Reisen has red eyes, long light-purple hair and long rumpled rabbit ears – like all members of the Lunar Defense Corps, her ears stand up straight and are decorated with two accoutrement-like buttons.

Does Kaguya call Reisen udonge?

In canon, Eirin Yagokoro is the only one who is allowed to call Reisen by the name “Udonge” or “Udongein”, though she also calls her “Reisen” from time to time, particularly when she is not present. Kaguya is seen to use both “Inaba” and “Reisen”.

How did Reisen meet Kaguya and Eirin?

Making her way to Gensokyo she was surprised to meet the notorious fugitives Kaguya and Eirin, both of whom had fled from the moon centuries earlier due to Kaguya consuming the hourai elixir and Eirin’s involvement in the incident. Seeking protection from other Lunarians sent to retrieve her, Reisen and asked for asylum in Eientei.
