I have both and prefer the paddle Walther sent me a new upgrade mag release spring for my older M2 , works great, no accidental mag release. …I personally own PPQ’s in M1 and M2 variety. And the reason for that is I wanted a PPQ 45, PPQ 5″ and PPQ Match…they’re not offered with a paddle…

Is the Walther PPQ M1 a legal weapon?
I own two PPQ’s. But on no document, manual, government document is that weapon identified as a Walther PPQ m1. It is legally a PPQ. Oh, there is that little item that to my knowledge no m1 has been sold or manufactured yet.
Is the Walther PPQ 45 still the best choice?
Now the PPQ 45 is an M2 variant only, because of its unique frame. But I have no problem with the button because of Walther’s great design. But, bottom line, paddles are still the best choice for me, my wife, and more than 6 of my friends that I converted after using my pistol. Walther should give me something for being such a good sales person.
