Boheme (album) The song “Freedom Cry” has later caused controversy when it was revealed that the singer, Károly Rostás (“Huttyán”), never received any monetary compensation from the song, and neither did his family after he died in 1986. His singing was archived by Claude Flagel, which was later sampled by Deep Forest.

“Boheme” is a lovely collection–a somewhat smoother and more “pop” version of the “Le Mystere des Voix Bulgares” compilations when “world music” started to become more mainstream. Really pretty. And…did I already say really pretty?
