How do I activate my NS card?
Activate your card service code
- Hold your OV-chipkaart in front of the OV-chipkaart logo at the bottom right of the NS Ticket Machine and follow the instructions on the screen.
- Select ‘Download order’, then the order with card service code and press ‘Akkoord’
How do I get a refund from Nova Scotia?
If you travelled using an e-ticket, mobile ticket or supplemental ticket, you can submit a refund request online. If you travelled using a Railrunner, Dagkaart Hond or Dagkaart Fiets, then you can enter it in the form under the heading ‘Supplemental tickets’. You can also submit a request via Mijn NS.

Do I need to activate my OV chip card?
