How do I connect my Bose Acoustimass module?
To connect the components of your system:
- Connect the Acoustimass module cable from the Acoustimass module jack on the system console to the Input jack on the bass module.
- Connect the end of the speaker cable with one plug to the Speakers jack on the bass module.

Is the Bose Acoustimass module a subwoofer?
I use the phrases “woofer,” “woofer module,” “subwoofer,” “Acoustimass module” and “bass module” interchangeably; they are all the same thing: the big, black speaker box into which everything else plugs.
Can I use Bose subwoofer?
Bose subwoofers cannot be used with other speakers; they are only compatible with Bose soundbars. Luckily, Bose offers a variety of soundbars on their website. Bose subwoofers cannot be used with speakers made by other companies because they are programmed to work exclusively with Bose products.
