How do I connect my Bose Acoustimass module?

To connect the components of your system:

  1. Connect the Acoustimass module cable from the Acoustimass module jack on the system console to the Input jack on the bass module.
  2. Connect the end of the speaker cable with one plug to the Speakers jack on the bass module.
  3. Connect the other end of the speaker cable to the speakers:

Is the Bose Acoustimass module a subwoofer?

I use the phrases “woofer,” “woofer module,” “subwoofer,” “Acoustimass module” and “bass module” interchangeably; they are all the same thing: the big, black speaker box into which everything else plugs.
