Do you get paid while attending FLETC?
Students who attend FLETC are sponsored by their agency. Their courses are paid for on a reimbursable and not by individuals, and therefore not eligible for G.I. Bill educational reimbursement.
How long is FLETC Academy?

Can you leave FLETC on weekends?
For basic and advanced training, classes typically begin at 7:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m. each weekday, however, practical exercises are often scheduled at night to enhance the training experience. The normal training week is Monday through Friday, but training may be scheduled on weekends, if necessary.
Can you have your cellphone at FLETC?
Phones are provided in each dormitory room with procedures on their use. Long distance phone calls from your room must be made with a calling card or collect.
How hard is Fletc training?
Train hard and follow this guidance and you will do well. Overall, FLETC is somewhat like a combination of a police academy, college and Disney Land (and very different from what I went through in my previous state police academy).
Do you get weekends off at FLETC?
You have to stay in fletc housing on weekdays, but can go wherever on the weekends. Also no family members can stay with you in fletc housing, though they can visit.
