How do you map a keyboard on Traktor?
Open Preferences. GO down the tree to ‘Controller Manager’. In the ‘Device’ dropdown, select the ‘Generic Keyboard’ mapping. Every line in the ‘Assignment Table’ is a command mapped to a keyboard button.
Can you still buy Traktor Pro 2?

Why is Traktor lagging?
Seems to be an issue with the Intel TurboBoost technology, and causing some sort of lag in the CPU which translates to nasty sounds when using Traktor. The fix seems to be to go into the BIOS, and disable the TurboBoost under CPU power management.

- This will create an empty MIDI mapping named Generic MIDI.
- Set the values for In-Port and Out-Port to the corresponding MIDI port name of your controller.
