How much do Landstar loads pay?

Payment percentages vary as follows: PULLING LANDSTAR-OWNED TRAILER: Landstar pay is 65% of freight revenue. PULLING THEIR OWN TRAILER: Landstar pay is between 70% and 75% of freight revenue, depending on trailer type: Van Trailer: 72%

Do you need your own truck to work for Landstar?

To sign on with Landstar trucking company as an owner operator, you will need to have your own truck. However, if you do not, you must obtain one within 30 days of applying with Landstar trucking company.
