Is El Hazard worth watching?
El Hazard stands out as a magnificent masterpiece. I’ve rewatched it and it hasn’t lost its fragrance. The art is top notch. Starting from background art to characters, everything is well-defined and has its place in the story.

El-Hazard is a beautiful series that when initially released in the 90s was one of the best of the year(in my own opinion). The OVAs were beautifully done had a good mix of story, romance, action and much more, and made for a very entertaining story.
How does El Hazard end?
Makoto stops the Eye from going out of control and is temporarily lost, but finds his way back to El-Hazard at the end of the series. In The Alternative World, another Eye of God appears, but this one is a shattered version of the original and does not seem to need a princess and three priestesses to unseal it.
Who does Makoto end up with El Hazard?
At some point, TV Makoto and TV Rune got married and Rune was pregnant. After she gave birth, the castle is attacks by Jinnai and the Bugrom. TV Ifurita does somothing that creates a gap between the two El Hazard universe.
What do you think about El Hazard?
The world of El Hazard still looks gorgeous – with breath-taking vistas of mountains and river valleys, lush forests and oddball alien creatures – plus a few background vistas of the Bugrom homeland which frankly look cheap. The action animation is quite well done, too.
