Can you take photos at Discovery Cove?
10 answers. You are allowed to take photo and video equipment anywhere in the park with the exception of the dolphin pools for animal safety. If there is anyone in the group not participating in the interaction they are more than welcome to take as many photos or video as they like from the beach.

Are cameras and recording devices allowed in Discovery Cove? Guests may use their personal cameras and recording devices throughout the park, with the exception of the Dolphin Lagoons, Flamingo Mingle, and Shark Swim (for the safety of our animals and your photo equipment).
Do you wear your swimsuit to Discovery Cove?
Will I need to wear a wetsuit? While in the water, we do require guests to wear either a wetsuit (short or long depending on the season and guests preference) or a swim vest. This ensures our lifeguards are able to see guests as they swim underwater, thus, enhancing safety.

What can you not bring to Discovery Cove?
Discovery Cove provides all guests with swim vests and/or wetsuits. With the exception of watches and wedding bands, Discovery Cove guests may not wear jewelry, for the safety of the animals.
Can the stingrays at Discovery Cove sting you?
You can only bend over from the waist and look at the stingrays, but the nice thing here is you get to touch them and see their beautiful and captivating eyes. You won’t get stung – their barbs are removed, and the reason they have you stay on your feet is because the rays are big and can knock you around.
