Is YO Sushi card only?
It is available in electronic format as a code that can be used to make purchases, or you can choose to receive a physical card that can be used. You can buy a YO!
Is YO Sushi authentic?
We’re all about fresh, flavoursome, authentic Japanese food. Sushi is what we’re known for. But we also have a mouth-watering range of hot street food available – from traditional classics to innovative fusion dishes.
Does YO Sushi contain alcohol?
YO! The nature of our delicious Japanese food is that we use authentic ingredients such as soy sauce, mirin and rice vinegar which do contain small amounts of alcohol. There will only ever be small or trace amounts left in our dishes given the quantities used, the team can advise!
Is Meerkat meals the same as tastecard?
Most people know Tastecard, and there’s also Gourmet Society and Hi-Life Diners Club. All three are owned by the same company, which is running Meerkat Movies too.

Can you go to Yo sushi alone?
Yes! Most YO! restaurants have high-chairs, however to make your visit as comfortable as possible we strongly recommend you advise us in advance of your booking that you require one. Do I have to pay a deposit?
Is Yo sushi fish raw?
Sushi’s favourite dishes. Now, if you’re a little hesitant about the raw fish, don’t worry, it doesn’t smell or taste raw. We might even go so far as to say fish may just be our favourite dish! This is YO!
Can you eat yo sushi the next day?
Raw sushi can be stored at room temperature for up to 2 hours and in the fridge for 1–2 days, but cooked sushi can be stored for 3–4 days in the fridge.
Why is sushi gross?
Sushi is gross because it is raw fish and fried fish is a whole lot better. Fried fish also smells better. It also has more flavoring to the meat.

I also contacted our local Yo Sushi who confirmed with head office that it’s not frozen at any point but is farmed.
