What does Manitoba Student Aid pay?
Manitoba Student Loans (MSL) provides 40% of a student’s assessed need, up to a maximum of $140 per week of study ($4,760 for a 34-week university program). These loans are also interest-free while the student is in full-time studies. Repayment is not required until six months after the program ends.
Do you have to pay back Manitoba Student Aid?
If you have leftover funding at the end of your school year, you are welcome to return the funds by paying back towards your Canada Student Loan or Manitoba Student Loan.
